Regina, the founder and owner of Pilates with Regina, is passionate about helping individuals achieve their personal wellness goals through the transformative power of Pilates. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Regina grew up in a large family as one of eight children. Her love for movement began at an early age when she started ballet at 11. She went on to pursue her passion for dance, earning a BFA in Ballet Performance from the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music.
Throughout her career as a professional ballet dancer, Regina performed with companies across Ohio, Virginia, and California, as well as internationally in Beijing, China. Her years of training and performance instilled in her a deep appreciation for the importance of body awareness, strength, and flexibility—qualities she continues to value in her Pilates practice.
While dancing, Regina used Pilates as an essential part of her cross-training routine. It helped her maintain proper body alignment, prevent injuries, and support her performance. After retiring from the stage, she pursued her passion for Pilates and became certified in Reformer Pilates through a local studio. Regina further honed her expertise by studying mat Pilates, Reformer, and other Pilates apparatuses through the renowned Balanced Body program.
With a strong foundation in movement and mind-body connection, Regina is dedicated to sharing her love of Pilates with others. She believes that Pilates is for everyone, regardless of age or fitness level, and her one-on-one sessions are tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
